What is Talk To Me?

Talk To Me is a speech and language newsletter written by speech-language pathologists for caregivers and parents.  It is published 4 times per year.  The cost is $10.95 annually.

What is the purpose of Talk To Me?

Talk To Me was created to provide parents and caregivers with information, research, and activities targeting speech and language development. This information will help caregivers improve their child's speech, language and general development.

Does my child need to be in speech therapy or have speech problems to benefit from the activities in Talk To Me?

No!  Any and all children can benefit from the information provided in Talk To Me.  It is a valuable resource which will help any child's speech and language skills regardless of age or level.

How will Talk To Me help my child if they do not have a speech or language problem?

Prevention is best!  Research has shown that speech and language skills are linked to literacy (reading) skills - including writing and spelling.    

Does Talk To Me only target speech and language?

Although Talk To Me is based on speech and language skills - the newsletter also covers conditions related to speech/language (ADHD, Autism, Hearing, Brain Injury, etc.) and child development in general.
